ABOUT FPC

Florida Perinatal Center, LLC. (FPC) offers the latest in prenatal testing, genetic counseling and management of both normal and high-risk pregnancies. Our perinatologists – doctors who specialize in high-risk pregnancies – are recognized for their expertise in managing the complications of pregnancy.

There are 2 reasons for being referred to our practice:

  • Your obstetrician may decide that your pregnancy is high risk and refer you to FPC. During your visit, you will receive an in-depth consultation with one of our perinatologists to discuss your pregnancy needs and concerns.
  • Your obstetrician may refer you to FPC to evaluate the health of the fetus for a routine first trimester ultrasound and/or anatomy scan. Our office does provide routine ultrasound and testing for low-risk patients.

Though you may have several appointments with your maternal-fetal medicine specialist during your pregnancy, your own obstetrician will continue to manage the pregnancy and deliver the baby. The maternal-fetal medicine specialist is usually not present at delivery but is available for consultation as needed.

LINDSEY MUZANTE

Practice Administrator

Lindsey Muzante, Practice Administrator – Lindsey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is responsible for overseeing the operations of both the Coral Springs and Boca Raton offices. Lindsey works closely with our physicians, staff, our referring physicians, and patients to ensure FPC provides the best patient experience and highest quality of care possible. She has over 8 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry before joining FPC in February of 2016. She enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her husband, 2 children, family, and friends.

Front Office Supervisor

Norma has been working at FPC for over 10 years. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and is happily married with 2 wonderful daughters. She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. She speaks both English and Spanish.

THERESA

Certified Billing and Coding Specialist

Theresa has been with FPC since 2014, and is a certified Billing and Coding Specialist. She has been working in the medical field since graduating from high school. She loves spending weekends with her grandchildren, and going to the gym.

MAGGIE

Sonographer, ARDMS

Maggie has been a sonographer at FPC since 2001, and is OBGYN and Fetal Echo certified with ARDMS. She enjoys seeing how happy her patients get when they see that first picture of their baby. She has been living in south Florida since coming to the US from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Maggie enjoys traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends, and is fluent in both English and Creole.

Sonographer, ARDMS

Maria has been part of the FPC team since 2008, and is ARDMS certified in OBGYN ultrasound. Maria is very proud to work under the care of our physicians, and truly loves being a sonographer.

Sonographer, ARDMS

Stephanie has been part of the FPC team since 2019 and is ARDMS certified in OBGYN ultrasound. She was born and raised in Florida and is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys working closely with our physicians to provide the best experience possible for patients.

RACHEL

Sonographer, ARDMS

Rachel has been a MFM sonographer for 10 years and is ARDMS registered. She has been working at FPC since 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going to the beach, and hiking.

VALERIA

Sonographer, ARDMS

Valeria has been an MFM sonographer for 10 years and is ARDMs registered. She has been working at FPC since 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach and traveling the world. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

KELLY

Medical Assistant

Kelly is a certified medical assistant and has been working at FPC since 2021. She has been a medical assistant since 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, and going to the beach.

SHASE

Medical Assistant

Shase is a certified Medical Assistant and has been with FPC since 2020. She does various things in the office, such as phlebotomy, check-out, scheduling patients and much more. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.

CHASTITY

Intakes Specialist

Chastity has been with FPC since May 2019 and currently coordinates referrals as our Intakes Specialist. She is a passionate professional, able to support our patients in both English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her 2 beautiful daughters, rescue pets and good friends, and loves miniature golf and cheering on the Florida Panthers.

ALEXANDRA

Insurance and Authorization Specialist

Alexandra (Alex) has been working as our insurance and authorizations specialist since 2014. She speaks both English and Spanish. She has 2 daughters and enjoys spending time with her family and numerous rescue dogs in her spare time.
